A home away from home

On 6 December 2008, we finally realised our big dream: operating a hotel. The kind of place where we would gladly spend a holiday. We have learned a lot from our years of previous travel experience, especially the things we wished to change, for example: tiny rooms, inconvenient breakfast hours, no way to throw together a quick omelette instead of going out for dinner. Feeling as independent and free in a hotel as we do at home: that was our ideal. Our small luxury Hotel Firefly in Zermatt is full of personality and is exactly the kind of hotel we've always wanted to stay in. All that we still have to wish for is that you feel as comfortable here as we do: where you have everything you want or need and you can enjoy your freedom to do or not do whatever you like. After all, you are on holiday. And so that your beloved four-legged friend don't have to miss out, your dog is also welcome at Hotel Firefly.
